Federated Member Affidavit

As a Federated Member of the NJ State Interscholastic Athletic Association, I certify to the following for any team competing against an NJSIAA-member school, against any school that is a member of an NFHS-affiliated governing association or against any opponent at an NFHS-sanctioned event:

  1. The Federated Member school is a full member in good standing with the NJ Association of Independent Schools (NJAIS).
  2. All participating student-athletes are in grades 9-12.
  3. All participating student-athletes comply with NJSIAA’s “Eight Semester Rule.”  Bylaws, Article V, Section 4(J).
  4. All participating student-athletes comply with NJSIAA’s credit requirements. Bylaws, Article V, Section 4(E),
  5. No student-athlete will be 19 years of age before September 1, 2023. Bylaws, Article V, Section 4(C).
  6. Competition that allows the use of post-graduate student-athletes will be mutually agreed upon by both schools.  Any participating post-graduate student-athlete must be in the first year of their post-graduate status.
