Broadcast rights will only be issued to accredited professionals representing bona fide media organizations. (See the press credentials tab for NJSIAA’s criteria of a bona fide media organization).
Please note:
- Social media websites are not considered bona fide media organizations.
- Organizations that are exclusively social media-based are not considered bona fide media organizations.
- Organizations that are scouting, ranking or recruiting services, college coaches, private clubs or specialty websites that are promotional services for an activity are not considered bona fide media organizations.
Approved requests will provide free access to the requested NJSIAA event only and access to the sideline and/or designated, pre-determined broadcast area. Spouses, friends, or other individuals will not be permitted free access nor access to sidelines or press box areas.
Broadcast rights will be granted to interested parties starting with the Sectional Finals in all sports through the remainder of the tournament. Preliminary rounds will be left to the schools to broadcast at their discretion. NJ Advance Media has primary rights to all NJSIAA events while the NFHS Network has secondary rights. For all remaining events that are available, broadcast rights will be granted to those interested on a first come, first served basis. Requests must be submitted via the online form below at least 48 hours prior to the start of the event – there is no guarantee that requests submitted within 48 hours of the event will be answered. If an event falls on a Sunday or Monday, requests must be submitted by 10am on the Friday prior to the event. You will receive an email either approving or denying your request within 24 hours of the start of the event. All persons affiliated with the broadcast service must check in at the event and show proof of identification to be allowed to set up at the event.
Disclaimer: NJSIAA reserves the right to limit the number of individuals approved based on facility-imposed restrictions and/or any public health related restrictions. Broadcast rights will not be granted to anyone under the age of 18 nor for anyone’s personal, scouting and/or recruiting purposes.
