Throughout the year, the NJSIAA honors its student-athletes, schools, coaches, and officials for their achievements, sportsmanship, and dedication to athletics. Please click on the links below to learn more.

 

 

 

Scholar Athlete Awards - Each year, every member school selects a senior who 1-plays a NJSIAA varsity sport, 2-possesses a cumulative grade point average of no less than 3.0, and 3-exhibits outstanding school and community citizenship, to be honored at our annual Scholar Athlete awards. Over $120,000 in scholarships is given out each year to our athletes at this prestigious event.

National Girls and Women In Sports Day - Every winter, an outstanding female athlete from each high school is honored in a state-wide awards ceremony, where outstanding high school and college/university female athletes are presented with special awards from the National Association for Girls and Women in Sport.

ShopRite Cup Winners - Wakefern Corporation awards points to schools for 1-winning group championships and 2-for being disqualification-free all year in all NJSIAA sports. At the end of the year, the six top earning schools (four public schools and two non-publics) are awarded the prestigious Shop-Rite Cup.

NJSIAA Sports Awards- Annually, NJSIAA honors coaches in each of our 32 championship sports, who have gone above and beyond and made a difference in their sport.

NFHS Officials Awards - Each year, the National Federation of High Schools honors exemplary officials in each sport for his or her significant service and contributions to varsity athletics.
